I loved the location of Ivy Square, so close to the historic Bikan area. Strolling along the quaint canals was delightful. The hotel itself, a converted textile mill, had a unique charm. My room was spacious and immaculately clean, featuring stylish design with a huge flat-screen TV and ample drawer space. The public bath was excellent, especially after a day of exploring. Breakfast was a highlight, with an impressive selection of both Japanese and Western options. However, I found the breakfast area a bit lacking in atmosphere, resembling a big cafeteria. I also faced a minor inconvenience with the public bath. my room was a bit far, and I couldn't wear a robe to get there. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to stay, but a few improvements in the dining ambiance and room access would enhance the experience.

I really enjoyed my time here, especially the spacious room with loads of bright natural light, and the cozy communal bath was the perfect way to wind down. The garden area is a lovely spot to relax, and I appreciated the nearby ceramic classes for a unique experience. Just a heads up, the air conditioning can be a bit strong for the season, so you might want to bring a lighter blanket! 😊
